More on the progress of my AIDS WALK 2014 poster.
It’s become my guinea pig for Illustrator.
Still lots to get used to, but I’m a bit of masochist when it comes to learning, so I’m driving in head first.
To answer northstarfan ‘s question:
I included Wanda and Billy, most importantly, as representatives of unconditional love and support. Like the AIDS walk, it’s not just for those intimately effected, but for those who care as well. They are my favorite Mother and Son of comicdom. As characters, and together, they bring to the table something more contemporary and relevant than Sue and Franklin. Raven and Kurt…just no. The Summer’s kids are all from alternate realities.
Lastly, their esthetic: Red.
Honestly enjoying this.
